We make custom signs, and the pricing depends on many variables.

When you ask us for a quote on a project, we are going to ask you several questions to find out exactly how to make it. Be prepared by looking at this list and having an idea of what you need.

 

Questions to consider:

Finished Size - Height x Width x Depth

Material Type - Plastic / Wood / Metal / Vinyl / Adhesive backed

How will it be mounted - Hanging, Wall mount, Pole mount, etc.

Hardware / Fastening / Attachment - Any specific hardware needed? Is there a need to match anything else existing on site. Is there a existing specification or sign program we need to follow or abide by?

Quantity - How many of each type?

Single or double sided viewing

Color - Printed vs Painted vs Stock Colors

Finish - Gloss , Satin, Matte, or Texture

Flat vs dimensional - For example vinyl graphics flat vs dimensional cut out components) Permit work needed?

Design set up - Who will provide design layout and font creation? Client or do you need our help?

Timing for completion

Installation needed or order will be picked up?

Accurate Quoting

Once we have a clear idea of exactly what you want we can email a quote or discuss options over the phone, Type of materials and amount of labor needed will effect cost. We like to give our clients lots of options when needed so feel free to pick our brain on options / upgrades and various costs to make sure we cover all aspects of your project.


Whats your budget?

Every project has a different budget and we want to be sure we have a good understanding of what works for your project. We want to be sure we are comparing apples to apples since we do a lot of custom work and not all craftsman create equal. Giving us a ballpark idea on what you want to spend will narrow the available options so we can make best use of your time.

Payment Terms

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment due now to start project

1. 100% due upon approval of pricing and conditions

2. Remainder balance due on or before pick up, ship, or install

3. Add tax* to products except installation & design services (*California Residents)

4. It is the client's responsibility to check with the city and/or county to see if a permit is needed for their project. All associated city and/or county permit fees are the sole responsibility of the property owner, business owner, or client requesting the signage.

5. Davis Sign Co is not responsible for additional signs and or design services included in plans or project scope that are not included in custom estimates.

6.Design services not included in listed prices. All design service is charged at an hourly rate.

DESIGN, SETUP, AND PROOFING

DEPOSITS REQUIRED TO RELEASE OPTIONAL PROOF

1. COST: $50 per 30 minutes for design, setup and proof/layout

2. Optional Color samples are $40 each (small scale example on actual media - what you see is what you get sample!)

3. Color matching is done in our shop not on site (PMS Pantone Coated numbers required)

4. All Colors appear different on your computer monitor, your phone, and on various medias (paper, banner material, vinyl, etc). Matching desired color, requires printing a sample on the desired media to establish accurate print color.

PRODUCTION TIME FRAME

1. Shipping/Packaging not included in price

2. 2-3 business days for production from date of final proof approval
